Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

HumaAid, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 39-4033852) and operates this website. Contact: info@humatek.io.

2. What we collect

If you join our email list, we store your email address, your language, and the time you opted in. If you use the contact form, we store your name, email address, phone number if you give one, the reason you chose, and your message, so that we can reply. Both are stored on our own infrastructure. We never sell them. The only parties they are shared with are named below.

3. Who else sees your data

A contact-form message is written to our own storage first. Your browser then sends a copy to Formspree, Inc., which emails the notification to us, so Formspree receives your name, email address, phone number if you gave one, your message and your IP address, and handles them under its own privacy policy.

If you open the donation form on our donate page, that form is hosted by Zeffy (Simplyk, Inc.) and the payment is settled by Stripe. They receive the name, email address, amount and payment details you enter, and Zeffy issues your tax receipt. Both handle that data under their own privacy policies. We never see your card details. Apart from Formspree and, if you donate, Zeffy and Stripe, nothing on this site sends your details anywhere, and nothing is ever sold.

4. Email-capture consent

Our email list is opt-in only: you tick a consent box before we save anything. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. We never sell, rent, or share your address.

5. How we use it

We use your email only to send HumaAid updates, such as when a new delivery reaches the ledger.

6. Zero analytics, zero tracking

HumaAid runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording, and no third-party trackers of any kind on this site. We treat that as a credential, not a setting.

One exception, and it is yours to make: the donation form is hosted by Zeffy, and Zeffy's page carries its own analytics and session recording. So we do not load it until you ask. Open the donate page and nothing of Zeffy's runs; press the button to bring up the form and it does. If you would rather it never touched this site at all, the same form is one click away on Zeffy's own page.

7. Cookies

We do not set tracking cookies. Your browser may store basic technical data needed to show the site.

8. Storage and security

Email addresses are stored with our hosting provider, with access limited to HumaAid staff who need it.

9. Retention and deletion

We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Write to info@humatek.io and we will remove it.

10. Children's data

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us their email, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes and contact
